Heard where he broke a small bone in his wrist & had surgery to repair it. Will be out 4 weeks. That information was later confirmed by Coach Bakich in his post game comments.

He hasn’t had the surgery yet. That’ll be this upcoming week. Was hoping it was nothing serious and that he was just getting a rest. Tough break for him. He was getting that batting average to come up. Hope the surgery is a success and I wish him well in the recovery process. Hopefully he’ll be back to wrap up the regular season against BC before the ACC Tournament starts.

Thanks for the clarification. For some reason I thought he had already had the surgery. I don’t think they expect him back until maybe the ACC tournament.

Tough break for Taylor. However, it might be a good break for the team and Bissetta seems to be a better hitter and gives us another left hand hitter to the lineup. Time will tell.
