Backwards Rock

I was asked (sincerely) about the tradition of Howards Rock. While looking for a simple site to explain it I found this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmeLvrDRQ5c
This video shows the old concrete mount they had there when I was a student.
I never noticed that when they moved from the concrete mount to the marble mount, they put the Rock on backwards.

I've never known a rock to have a front and a back, it's a rock, you can position it any way you want.
