Maybe I fell asleep and missed the next play? Why didn’t they replay fourth down? Is that a loss of down penalty?
It is awesome though. If I was that official, I would keep my head on a swivel. Sankey will probably take out a contract on him.

Did Saban not tell Deboer about the payment drops to the officials houses? I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen a clearly inexplicably wrong call go AGAINST bama, but I do love it

DeBoer is not part of the deep state club like Saban was. If Saban was still there, these calls aren’t happening.
I can’t remember the last time Bama was called for holding twice in one half, much less one game. Then the nullifying TD call. Maybe the ref hook ups are over for now.

But I ultimately came to like and respect Saban. That doesn’t extend to Bammer fans though. I keep giggling thinking about big screen TVs being thrown through mobile home windows all across Alabama.

Bad calls happen but when they happen to Bama we get to enjoy hearing Herbie and Fowler whine and moan about it for 15 minutes.

Yea but most bad calls have some sort of excuse. That was blatantly awful. Wrong call, but a mile. Made by a ref about 5 full seconds after the call should have been made, even if it was accurate.
I’m glad Bama lost but I hate bad officiating. That was a massive call.
