How are so many people missing the point...

Of Dabo's frustration. He knows he's going to be in the playoffs this year, but if his most outstanding players don't get noticed/recognized, the future recruitment results could suffer. He's trying to get ahead of it now. If ETN, TL, Tee, Simmons, etc knew they could dominate the nation but be ignored, would they have thought differently about Clemson? Maybe not, but it's got to be frustrating to them to not be recognized for their hard work. Just my $.02.

How so... He knows we're in with a win Saturday, so he isn't trying to lobby to get in. He's pizzed off that his team and players' accomplishments are getting dismissed for two reasons:
1. He loves them like family and
2. The rhetoric that we're seeing about the team/conference is dangerous and can definitely impact future postseason opportunities as well as recruiting.
He's not just complaining to complain. Feel free to respond with a thought instead of an insult if you're interested in discussing

They’ve spewed the same rhetoric every year about our schedule.

It hasn’t stopped us from getting in the playoff and kicking tail yet. It hasn’t slowed down our recruiting either.
BTW I don’t think it’s dumb to think the way you’re thinking I just don’t really agree with it. I could be wrong though. Only Dabo and those closest to him know.

Awards and recognition on the college aren’t that big of a deal.

What matters is getting paid in the NFL and trust me, barring major injury or something off the wall they will be getting their recognition on draft day.
If what you say is true why do we have one of the top if not the the top recruiting class right now?

It's been my observation that the tone of the media is significantly different this year. It was just a few years ago when DW and Lamar battled it out and we had a very respectable SOS. Our conference has been mentioned in the past as weaker or some teams as insignificant, but this year feels different. It's like no accomplishments matter at all because every acc team is on the same level as citadel in the eyes of media. Hope I'm wrong and recruiting stays top notch, but it feels Dabo is speaking out for a reason and I'm assuming his guys aren't thrilled to be left out of some things. Yes, they're"team first" but they still notice
