There are well documented public safety incidents that have resulted in deaths and injuries. That’s why storming courts and fields has been restricted. Also why general admission seating at events has been reduced.
Safety officials and legal teams have to enact measures at venues to protect attendees from injuries when “fanatics” behave irresponsible.

I believe they had the hill packed far in advance of the “game” starting.
Whereas, for the Clemson games the students don’t want to leave their little fancy cocktail parties early…so they arrive at the stadium at a time that makes it difficult on security.
It’s a shift in culture of the college kids.
I vividly remember being on the hill 2 hours before kickoff for the puntrooskie game.
The hill was packed and the rest of the stadium was empty for a while.
It’s just different now.
People care about different things.

I think you hit the nail on the head. I get into the stadium early, at least before the victory walk, and I’ve watched the entrance to the hill many times. Students are trying to get in there last minute. I do think the University and security could make the entrance a little more efficient and that would help some too.

I do think the university and AD could and should make a bigger effort to adapt and meet the challenge.
But again, people need to understand that challenge just didn’t exist last night and that’s why it was different.

The point is… it was no problem last night because people showed up early to get a spot.
That is what “fixed” it.
Students will not show up early like that.
That is the problem.

Clearly the hill shouldn't be a student section. It should be GA and go on sale 2-6-12-24 hours?? before the game.
It'll sell out almost every game

Maybe so. Maybe walk-up GA two or three hours before kickoff and try to make it so you go right in as soon as you buy the ticket.
Don’t know if it would work. But would be worth studying…by the people who get paid to figure it out.

The fire Marshall doesn’t give a shiz about Clemson or the students. Beginning to wonder if the Board does. Let the students on the Hill or step out of the way. Open the Hill when the stadium opens. You took the balloons away because of the snowflakes and this arises for no reasonable explanation. All changes aren’t good. Please leave Tiger stadium alone. Go be a snowflake somewhere else

Was there really 80K in attendance? At $40 each that is $3.2M plus concessions and merch. If we only got $250K then we got hosed
