But no way he could spell them. Must have had someone else do it. Just proof they're all scumbags. You can't root for a single one of them. Glad he ended up an NFL bust and will be stocking shelves at Wal-Mart in a few years. That's adversity.

Why? Because he never made it in the NFL? I don't feel bad for him. He signed with the Coots, don't lose any sleep for that fool... High profile kid coming out of High School, but so was Roscoe Crosby, etc -

Why you feel bad for the guy?

Not everyone can play in the NFL. Life goes on, and you do the best you can. He just recently got engaged, and he's working for the scar football program. Other than working for the scar football program, things seem to be going pretty well for the young man. He'll be ok.

I believe it was an attempt at a joke. It could be taken as if you think he's overcome adversity, clemson has too - with a state legislature and the majority of the state's population for our arch rival and we are better than them in academics and athletics.
It could be a backhanded compliment.
He may still remember that after his injury, Dabo spoke more caringly about him than his own head coach.

Doesn't every good rivalry have a lighthearted jab with regularity? It wasn't crude, offensive, or distasteful. Lighten up y'all and don't expect players to behave any differently than you regarding our rivalry.

At least he is loyal to the school that screwed him

His injuries are a direct result of being overused. He was asked to carry the football 40+ times in some games. Compare that with CJ who carried the rock over 20 times in a game less than five times in his career here. Not only is it carries, it is the type of carries, in the middle where injuries happen, that is a huge issue as well. Who is playing in the NFL and who is not? In 2012 he got hurt with a hip injury against LSU, could not start but they tried to push him vs Florida and still ran him 3 times, and then started him against Tennessee the week after which is the week he got his second knee injury.
If Marcus Lattimore had came to Clemson, he would be making millions in the NFL right now. There is no doubt about that. So, if he wants to blame someone for his dumb, very economically stupid decisions, he can do that every morning when he looks in the mirror. He got in bed with the devil, and the devil used him, and trashed him.

There is no doubt that the coaches at Clemson would of been a little smarter with how to use him than how he was used at SC. I also think that if Clowney were to choose Clemson, he would be a better man and would of probably had a better college career. Lattimore would of been a great fit at Clemson because of his personality and work ethic. Its unfortunate but it is what it is

I didn't realize getting 40 carries in a few games made you more susceptible to planting and having a defender hit you right in the knee

I have no issue with the quote at all. After all you cannot have adversity when you have always sucked. Clemson on the other hand has seen greatness and will again. Thus, adversity exists due to not meeting expectations.
