than I have been in a long time thanks to fact that we finally have a legitimate playoff system.
It started with Obama getting it to 4 teams and now 12 is going to be awesome.
Best sports day of the year will be the first round. Imagine our tigers getting an extra home game against one of the best teams in the country...
Exciting times. Looking forward to the future of college football.

I hope we win the ACC so we get a top 4 seed. Forget what the schemers in media say, Clemson can be any of the four seeds at season’s end.

12 is just too many, and IMO it will water the playoffs down, and it would have been more competitive with just 6 teams, and no more than 8. With 12 it's exactly what Dabo said, it will cause teams to hold players out of the end of season rivalry games saving them for their playoff game...

There are 130 FBS teams and only 12 make the playoffs. How can you say that is too many?
I’ll give up a meaningless rivalry game for a better playoff system.

I take your point about needing a fortune to attend all the games. Second round games are bowl games, not on campus. This year's schedule:
When are the College Football Playoff games?
First Round (on campus)
Friday, Dec. 20, 2024: one game (evening)
Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024: three games (early afternoon, late afternoon and evening)
Quarterfinals
Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024: Vrbo Fiesta Bowl (evening)
Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025: Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl (early afternoon), Rose Bowl Game (late afternoon) and Allstate Sugar Bowl (evening)
Semifinals
Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025: Capital One Orange Bowl (evening)

There are going to be lots of issues with a 12 team playoff but one of the biggest issues will be the travel/expense demands placed on the fanbases.
There may be 2 or 3 fanbases can afford to attend all those games (maybe).
Notice how the NFL only has one neutral site playoff game (the Super Bowl). And that is attended by corporate cronies, not fanbases of the teams.

You forgot that Hussein Obama II got us to 12 in his third term. If in fact he gets a fourth term, I for one have confidence he can get us to 64 .
I do hope the fact that Dabo was against expanding the playoff to 12 is in no relation to the fact that he did not vote for Hussein the 3x’s he’s ran. I know Big Dog is a big pro-America 1st poster, so I’m sure he more than likely holds similar views to Dabo. I just hate to see politics and sports combined which could possibly cause a division among a fan base that largely doesn’t support ( cause they racist) a democratically appointed candidate who may support playoff expansion
