As well as Clemson travels, we'll get a very good bowl game.

I'd still recommend faxing both Charlotte and Atlanta. I know that sounds dated, but it really helps.
Peach bowl is still in play if we can win out and NCSt loses 2 more games, Pitt loses at least 1 more game, and Wake loses 2 more games.
I think Charlotte for the Mayonnaise Bowl and Atlanta for the Peach Bowl would love a team that travels like Clemson, but I know that faxing really does help. The cities need us to spend money.

I always found in the Tommy West era, a strongly worded notarized letter stating intent to attend worked best. It got us into the Gator Bowl in 96 in what may have been Tommy West best game against Syracuse

I am hoping for the Tony the Tiger bowl in El Paso or the First Responder bowl in University Park. Only a 6 hour drive for me to either location.

I think it is a big assumption that people will spend a bunch of money to travel and watch what we are seeing on a weekly basis. People have spent a mint going to natties, and playoffs over the last few years. I think a bunch of people will just stay home this year.
As for me some others can use my Iptay bowl tickets this year as I will be in Key Largo watching whatever on tv.

Agree. Unless we get some bowl in a city I really want to visit, I’ll be staying home. The last several years we’re budget killers…I need a break.

Unless Clemson falls bass-ackwards into Charlotte or Atlanta

I don't think a very frustrated Clemson fan base is going to spend a bunch of money traveling to some far away land to watch this team play.
The Fenway Bowl, the Pinstripe Bowl, the Cheez-it Bowl, the Military Bowl, the Holiday Bowl, the Gasparilla Bowl, the Birmingham Bowl, the First Responder Bowl, and the Sun Bowl are on the table.
Does anyone really want to sit outside in Boston, New York or Maryland in late December to watch a meaningless lower-tier bowl game, not to mention travel all the way to San Diego, Dallas, or El Paso?

This is absolutely ridiculous. What makes you think Clemson wins out based on what you've seen so far? What makes you think those teams all lose that many games with how they're playing?

to do what they should have done in the past.
The people who buy tickets AND attend the bowl game this year should have the first chance to buy tickets for the next playoff game and natty…whenever that may come.
This really could be done…and it should.

decent bowl invitation, it will be interesting to see if we "travel" as well as we used to before the playoffs bids.A lot of Tiger Nation spent THOUSANDS of dollars going cross country these past six years to the various playoffs bowl sites. It would not surprise (or disappoint, for that matter) me if those same people stayed home this year and watched the bowl season on TV.
I, myself never had the deep pockets, or the physical health to make those trips anyway. But, for those who did, they are presented with a different set of circumstances than expected this year.

I know it scares a lot of folks on the board, but Sun Bowl would be interesting though a bit of a haul.

Will watch on TV - spent $3000+ in Charlotte at opener - unsure I saw one good play by Offense - will give it another shot with new Offense in 2022. Go Tigers!
