Still no word on Michigan.
Blatantly cheating to gain an advantage over every team in the B1G is no big deal. That's what I'm hearing pundits saying.
If I were one of the other schools in the conference I would be furious. "You are letting one school cheat, and they have been doing it at least 3 years, and you are doing nothing about it." So much for protecting the conference.
Michigan understands. Cheating is a low risk, high reward proposition.

I have no idea how good Michigan is. They have played the equivalent of an AAC or MAC schedule so far.
Just pointing out that schools have learned that cheating is worth the risk. UNC got zero punishment for setting up an entire department to keep players eligible. Michigan blatantly violates rules so that they know what play is being called and can signal the info to the defense.
But, hey, if we get caught, no big deal. It's worth the risk.

It’s worth the risk when the risk is zero. The NCAA is a joke and everyone knows it.

Penn State takes matters into their own hands and penalizes them tomorrow.

Pettiti may be Penn State's biggest fan tomorrow.

If Penn State wins, Pettiti can claim, "No need to punish them. They won't go to the playoffs now."

I find it hard to believe that Michigan has outsmarted everyone and is alone in the world of cheating. the NCAA has taken some massive hits and if they hammer Michigan and then it is revealed that say Ohio st, Penn St, or some others were doing the same while screaming that would be the death kneel to them. I think that is happening anyway but it would just bring down the whole house of cards sooner!

Only because I wish it was ND which had the NCAA hounds sniffing at their crotch.
You see, my chitlist is ND then UM, O how I hate, O-hi-O state, USC (the real one) and Texas.

It’s just too difficult to monitor sign stealing and the NCAA should totally remove itself from that process and allow any team to steal signs. If a rule cannot be easily enforced then it should not exist IMO

Ithe rule says you can’t scout in person and you can’t use recording devices live to gain an advantage…
Both of which it appears Michigan did.

Apparently there is some concern that the Bucknuts, Hoosiers and other Big10 teams are guilty of the same issue.

Everyone who has ever studied cheating in college sports has concluded that cheating pays.
The only ones who lose are any team players that are on the team when penalties are invoked, but at least they can leave now.
The school and the coaches that cheat generally get a big payoff.
