It's hard to watch him sit behind a transfer QB knowing he could be starting right now at Clemson.

Pretty sure NIL was not an issue for Arch it was matter of who could take his game to the next level. He and his family loved their time at Clemson, but I do believe teams are beginning to negatively recruit Clemsons offense and pointing to how little will translate to the next level.

They don't a coach to tell them..
That said, it is very easy to negatively recruit against our offense right now. It's basically all true...

NIL may not have been the only issue but its certainly helping keep him firmly planted on their bench instead of going somewhere he'll actually play. Texas is rich enough to pay their backup QB more than anybody else is paying their starter. Or maybe he just enjoys hanging out with Ewers.

and I feel like the Mannings were OK with Arch sitting and learning for awhile. He played at a really small HS so moving from that to a CFB team with playoff aspirations was a huge jump. Giving him a couple of years to learn and adjust makes sense as the Mannings can afford to play the long game with Arch.

He would not be starting with Cade still on the team. Have you not been keeping up with roster management at Clemson?

Baseless assertions.
Did Cade not replace DJ, resulting in DJ taking his ball and going home? Did Lawrence not replace Kelly (the QBs that took us to the CFP the previous season), who then chose to quit the team rather than try to earn his spot back?
That’s our last 4 QBs. What are you talking about?

Every example you gave (and the one you didn't give watson/stoudt) were all way too late.

Disagree. If he was at clemson it would be an open competition. I don't think Cade would be given the job blindly if there was another option

Sure, let's go get him. Clearly we can get any player we want. NOT! Quit dreaming. Return to reality. We are little old Clemson with a great salesman / cheerleader for a head coach.
I'm all in with Cade. I'm all in with Dabo. I'm all in with Clemson.
I've lived through and supported lots of QBs who were nowhere near as talented as Cade: Pengitore, Streeter, Lott, O'Cain. I'm very happy with and supportive of Cade

Arch Manning isn't that good he's about a 3 star QB, you will see the truth next year when he starts even with a good OL and WR

Remember when Dabo , Riley and Grisham took a trip out to Texas over the summer ?
I was hoping we were out there to talk Manning into coming to Clemson via the portal.
We were one of his finalists and it was looking like we had soured on CK.
I kept thinking if Manning is a legacy recruit why is he choosing to sit behind Ewers for 2 years , possibly more ?
As it turned out they went for some other totally unrelated cause.
Now , I feel foolish for even hoping Dabo could come around to ever using the portal.

No way Manning was coming to Clemson to be developed by Grishman. What QB has Grishman developed?

He doesn't minded. He is supposedly very happy and looking forward to starting next year. oui offense is stale anyway. We don't even use the middle of the field .
