Coaches aren’t earning their money, it’s failure to prepare the team that has a QB needing a miracle 50 yard run to eke out a win today. Very ugly football
Pitt is not good, penalties galore allowed Clemson to even be in the game. It was as nasty a win as ever, but a win is better than losing. Just enough and very late is better than never 🙏🏻

Bite us! We were outcoached and outplayed, I'm always glad when we win but we were lucky.

We won. Great job by Cade.
It doesn’t change the fact we have serious issues. Pitt was horrible and we beat them by 4.

Yep, it’s CFB. It’s rarely ever over. There are few games I give up on and quit watching. Maybe some of the FSU games from back in the 90s lol. When I’m there in person I never leave till it’s over. Try to support the guys. My anger is usually directed more at the coaches than the players. These are just kids after all, even if they are paid now.

Wrong ? Clemson played poorly enough to lose. Pitt gave that game with all those penalties near the goal line. Backup QB, backup Oline, had lead with 2 mins left.
Any doubt was earned, nothing wrong with that.
Fortunate wins happen.

I threw blame and it was due. This team is not very polished and is sometimes difficult to watch. So glad for the win but we are not close to the Clemson teams in the past. Hopefully they can play two halves in future games but they seem to only want to play one every game. Throw stones if you want to but no one can say we will definitely win any games prior to the season on our schedule except for the Citadel. We just don't put any teams away like we did in the past. Keep them hanging around. I know I will get crucified for this post but prove me wrong. I am a Clemson fan through and through but it is unsettling to go into every game not knowing if we will win. Hope things change in the off season. Some coaches need to go and we need to get some experienced and seasoned coaches in those positions. Just my opinion. I hope this team proves me wrong and I have to eat crow.

I am with you. I gave up today - but according to my scientific study, me turning the game off causes us to win football games. You are all welcome.

I told my wife when we only had a 1 plus minutes that I liked our chances bc this team has moved the ball better when they get into a fast pace, and they do. But I must say that I'm not excited about Garrett's play calling bc he let a lot of good situations get away from him in this Pitt game. Pitt meant that Mafah wasn't going to beat them and Garrett completely overlooked that fact with our receivers running free just about the entire game when he should have made them stop us from throwing the ball down field!!!

We weren't lucky. We were better down the stretch. We made the plays that you need to make to win the game. Pitt didn't . No luck to it. Not having as many penalties as the other team isn't luck, it's discipline created by better coaching. We were better. We won.

Uhhh, Cade made a play and saved Clemson from defeat. Pitt made wayyy more plays and couldn’t stop getting penalties. Otherwise game turn out much different. But it happened so Tigers win.
Happy but also know changes need to be made. Realizing this is what separates us all

I'm not sorry. Ignoring the process because of isolated results is how you drive the program off the cliff. The cracks started showing in 2019 and they've just gotten worse since. Pulling out a game we had no business winning changes nothing about the very real issues this program has right now.
