Anyone remember Leon Mackey?

A 4 star DE out of prep school committed to Clemson in 2009, then backed out and signed with usc. He didn't qualify at usc so he went JC. Then he signed with Texas Tech.

Well, he was just suspended for thier bowl game for a violation of team rules.

I quess not all losses in recruiting are a bad thing.

We've had plenty guys suspended for violation of team rules. If he's good, I'd still take him bc our D sucks. Also violation of team rules could mean missing class or some petty crap.

He was a bad student. He couldn't even get in usc, for goodness sakes. He was over rated. And he was a problem child.

He played two years at Texas Tech and was a back up most of that time, including his senior season. His stats are not very good.

We obviously didn't miss on him.
