the ACC games were basically relegated to ACCN. Just like SEC football where the ESPN ABC 3:30 and primetime spots were taken up by them. Unbelievable how ESPN is the exclusive home of the ACC too but we are getting second rate status. Even worse my guess is Jim Phillips will never grow a pair and complain to them.

It is irritating when the ACC was exclusive to ESPN first while the SEC was selling their marquee football and basketball match ups to CBS.

At least the SEC has no representation in the National Championship Football Game!
That has to be killing ESPN……
I’ll have to pull for ND due to their ACC affiliation. Plus I dislike Ohio state and their coach….
The ACC needs a contract with Two networks, including ND and NBC, plus FOX or possibly CBS.
The ACC is American Coast to Coast conference, plus North to South. We are not going to end up in the SEC, ESPN
Looking forward to Tiger Basketball and Baseball in the coming months, then LSU in Death Valley!

Swofford got run over by them. It is literally criminal what they are paying the ACC as well as the length of the deal. I seriously doubt they cancel the contract with their option. Infuriating.

It's not criminal. The reason the ACC gets paid less than the AEC and Big Ten us because the ACC isn't worth aa much. Fewer people warch ACC games than the SEC and Big Ten. That's why the ACC gets paid less.

Look-in clause of ESPN base agreement for media rights for ABC,ESPN, ESPN2 coming up in days. Different from ACCN agreement. Could this be ESPN not extending agreement or being leverage to renegotiate margins? Afraid the ACC may about to get poorer.
