Anyone in here has a Samsung Family Hub fridge?

We are renovating our house and redoing everything including new appliances. We are looking at the Samsung Family Hub Fridge. It is Wifi enabled and apparently you can stream live TV to the fridge, great to have a tv in kitchen while cooking during football season. I understand Samsung phones may work better than iPhones (we have iPhones). Anyone haver experience with this fridge? The price is roughly the same as a plain French Door fridge at $2208.00 Does the streaming work well?

and that thing is sweet !!!
If the refrigerator is made anything like the television, I'm sure you'll be very happy with it.

I have a Samsung washer and dryer that I paid double for in the first three years. So I didn't want Samsung. Wife wanted sub-zero. She still isn't too happy that I didn't spend 12 frickin grand on a refrigerator.
What I love about the one we bought is it has a small freezer. I don't need a big freezer, kids are all gone. It has a drink only door that is awesome. Half the time I go to the fridge is just to get drinks. I keep the freezer at -4 degrees C. Ice creme is awesome kept that cold. The center drawer is awesome too. I keep meets for lunch and cheeses in there.
I didn't think wifi connected to my refrigerator seemed like a good idea. I considered it, but it didn't make sense for me. Between Alexa and my house alarm system, I have enough wired.

I've managed get by the first 63 years of life without a wifi refrigerator..... I think I'll continue down that path with my current "dumb" fridge.
Let us know how this works out and if it is as useful as the price it likely demands. It is cool that they make stuff like this now.

Don't know anything about the Wi Fi but you better make sure that Samsung has found a solution to their ice maker problems. My Samsung is about 4 yrs old, and after about a year and a half (warranty is 1 yr.) it quit making ice. After some internet research, I found this is a common problem amongst Samsung refrigerators that they deny exists. Know about once a month I melt all of the built up ice off of the ice maker with a hair dryer, so it doesn't tell the sensor that the ice maker is full and shut it off.

and their refusal to acknowledge that their front load washers have an inherent problem/manufacturers defect. The washers did not adequately clean themselves of laundry residue, and resulted in mold or mildew buildup, bad odors, and ruined laundry. Even after a class action lawsuit that Maytag lost, they still refuse to acknowledge the problem.

I bought a Samsung fridge years ago and it was the worst

fridge I ever had. I went with Samsung because of other electronic products I liked and ended up regretting it immensely.
The ice maker would make about a cup of ice a day. Even worse, the water drain in the back wall of the fridge at the evaporator had terrible galvanization and ended up rusting apart about four months after the warranty expired. As a result, the drain would get clogged up and water would accumulate in the bottom fridge (about two inches every month.) Finally got rid of the piece of junk two years ago. Don't know if they've fixed all their problems, but you better make certain they have before wasting your money.

Don't buy Scamsuck.
Ice makers are all faulty, and have been since 09', and the evaporators tend to freeze over causing loss of temperature control without warning. (the temp read out on the door is a lie)
The family hubs have also been known to catch fire.

Since HS is a plumber/electrician (30+ years). He has dealt with many Samsung kitchen appliances and his verdict is that they should stick to TVs and phones. Replacement part costs quite often render them disposable when they invariably break down too soon.

I’m looking for a Samsung toilet. During games on tv, I time my bladder trips during commercials. When I’ve had more beer later in the day and early evening, sometimes I don’t get back and miss a couple of plays. It would be nice to watch from the underside of the toilet seat. If anyone has one, please let me know if reception is good and what the pixel count is on the latest model.

Samsung makes good TV's. Stay away from their appliances. Just peruse the "returned" aisle at Lowe's at you will get my point.

My parents have a Samsung TV, I hate it. Terrible navigation with built in adds.
My TCL is much nicer to use.

We bought a washing machine last year at Lowe’s and the guy that worked in appliances basically said not to buy anything Samsung cause they break all the time. And that was all their appliances.
