Just going through some old photos and ran across this old pic of ScoobySnack, doing Scooby things... finding the ladies.
I don't remember the exact year (2002/3 maybe?) but we all gathered along the bank at the practice fields for an unauthorized tailgate while the players held practice. It was the continuation of Signing Gate that we had planned on doing for the foreseeable future.
If I am not mistaken it was Scoobysnack, WT, Me (HiredGun back then), Joe21, Thor122296, Mikelongstroke and a bunch of others I am sure I am forgetting. Balm - I cann't remember if you were there or not?

Scooby was a funny dude who loved the Tigers. So sad he died in an accident soon after (I believe). I recall being there. Roy Philpot had a nice internet platform until he sold it to a goof ball.

Man, I missed the tailgates since I live in Sumter, and I've always regrated it. I remember Scoobysnack well. Roy had a great site and we had some great conversations. When Scoobysnack died, it impacted all of us on the site. He was definitely missed.
It has been a while, so I could be wrong, but I think this happened on CUTigers, but it could have been Tigernet. There was a guy, cannot recall his username, but he wanted the most posts, so he had a marathon conversation with himself.
There were some good times on CUTigers.
When Roy sold the site, it collapsed fast. I moved over to Tigernet completely at that point. I admit that I don't post like I did on CUTigers.

I remember thinking about attending the first "Signing Gate" on signing day...but really needed to get some work done.
Later I really wished I had made that time to meet up with some of the old CUTigers.com gang.
I hope Roy's career move into broadcasting has worked out every bit as well as he hoped.
I'm not surprised Trevor ruined what was my favorite online Tiger Board.

He just changed seats
We know where he is and we will see him when we see him
And Scoobysnack
I was active back then on CUTigers as well
I used to take my nephew to summer practices
I remember chatting with Donnell Washingtons father
And an OL father used to post practice nuggets on CUTigers
I also talked to Roy at those practices
It was just low key easy going
One time my nephew and I were in Jervey looking for a restroom for the little guy to pee and Coach Burns came around the corner and welcomed us like we were expected to be there
Even offered to get us a coke or water
Exceptional moment of Clemson hospitality
He talked direct to nephew like he was a recruit totally cool
Good days
Sad when scoobysnack changed seats too
His family was full coot and he escaped to the Orange side and relished being a Tiger

I met Scooby and his buddy " The Shirt " at Explorers on a signing day. I believe it was the year we signed Antonio Clay.

I was living out in Los Angeles back then. But I do remember Scooby Snack, I had not heard that name in years, he was a legend over there, god rest his soul.

I was a newbie on that site at that time, but I remember most of the names listed. F16Cook was another guy that was a big poster back then. I was stationed in Arkansas for the Signing Gate get together and was so jealous I couldn't make it. The core group on that site was cool as they could be and very welcoming to me then, felt like I knew most of them but had and never have met a single one. Wish I could remember who it was but one of them sent me a copy of one of the Clemson games while I was in the UAE. I logged into there awhile ago and it was beyond dead.

Ahhh yes ol’ Cookie. IIRC he once did a flyover of DV before he retired and supposedly got in trouble for being “accidentally” a little too low during the pass
Btw it was me who sent you that game. I used to record all games, edit the commercials out, burn them to an dvd and keep them to replay during the dead period.
