Everyone thought Louisville would be our toughest game.
But Virginia is 4-2 and 2-1 (ACC) just like Louisville
Seems fishy
You just never know when one of these low tier to mid tier conference teams will pull a rabbit out of the hat with some magical game plan.

Not worried we can win with our B- game

It is a question of talent. We have far more at this point in time. While some players may have a bad day we replace them with better talent than UVA has. Of course the replacement has to have a good day, but they will see this as their chance and probably perform well.
Since it is a home game garbage time will result in their scoring more points when 3-5 stringers and walkons get in late.

beating Clemson on paper, yet they did...and have given the Tigers trouble multiple times with nowhere near the talent. A challenge is coming from one of these teams, could be Virginia, could be Loserville, so every week Clemson needs to be prepared and ready to kick butt.
Play the game on the field and impose your will. Tigers are the better team, but unless you play better than your opponent then the unlikely can, and will, happen.
I expect our Tigers to win convincingly, maybe 45-17. But if TE and those Hoos get some confidence and the score stays close, I hope Clemson can overcome and get a gutsy win.

VA is just the type of team that can upset a very good team. Let them stay in the game and gain confidence while you play just good enough and they come up with one stop and a lucky play and you find yourself in the Lost column. I'm betting Dabo is much more concerned about how Clemson plays as opposed to how VA plays.

I worry about every game because of all of the intangibles that can play out in a game. As they say, no matter what you think on paper, that is why we play the game.

The QB is talented. Even in our Natty years we struggled with inferior competition. So yes. I believe UVA has an experienced roster as well. Tony has built them up after a few years.

It’s a game against a D 1 team which has nothing to lose. A turnover here a missed assignment there and you could be on your heels. I would tell the team to play them like they’re Georgia.

I wish I could say "YES" but sadly, "NO"!
I have watched Virginia because of Coach Elliott and even in their wins; it was mostly mistakes by the other team. With some plays mixed in by Fields and Collandier and Pace.
Tigers shouldn't struggle with UVA at all; if the team plays to it's potential. TBH - I was more worried about WAKE. Yes, Virginia beat Wake, but that was early season and it came down to the end in that game.

Elliott knows our team, the environment, and our system.
He knows Dabo's mindset and methods.
Our defense isn't deep.
Our special teams have issues.
They said, I think we win something like 35-20.

Colandrea, their QB is a gamer and he can run a little. He isnt a big dude at 6' 185 so a couple hard shots and he might not be so quick to take off.
They have a beast of a WR, #8 Malachi Fields. He is a grown man at 6'4" 220 and can flat out play. So Avieon needs to shadow him IMHO
We will get to see a good bit of Kobe Pace, whom I always liked a lot.
Their D isnt terrible and will give us some fits at times.
They have a pretty decent team with some nice players but they dont have the top notch talent or depth to hang for 4 quarters.
I think it will be more uncomfortable for the first half than some realize. In fact I am expecting PBT to call for Wes' job again during the game.
But we pull away comfortably and win by 21-24pts.

SHOULD we beat Virginia? If we come in with the right attitude, absolutely we should but I am not overly confident

To be honest if we continue playing like we have since the UGA game and continue to improve in areas I don’t see any of our games being too tense IMO… I feel like this offense has been shaken alive and just seeming like it’s wide open like it used to be, yes we get conservative sometimes but our defense has been playing well enough to compliment our offense
