Sorry brother. I’ve been on a health improvement journey since last July and can only drink on Friday and Saturday nights. Heck, I’m only consuming 1100-1300 calories per day. Sunday through Thursdays are workout days.
How about a prayer that your day outlook gets better?!

Are you following a diet program? Feels like there is no way you are consuming enough protein to maintain/build any muscle. Even if you have tons of weight to lose the best method to shedding those lbs and keeping them off is building muscle.

Im working to get body fat down to 10%. The last bit of fat is slow because of all the visceral fat that’s being burned at the same time as that last tiny bit of belly fat. I’m actually burning fat and adding muscle using a professional nutritional doctor. And my first degree was in physical education. I lost 35lbs of fat and 7” in my waist line and packed on 25lbs of muscle. It’s impossible to burn fat without being in caloric deficit. And it is very possible to protein load on low calories to build muscle IF you still have fat stores. Your body is forced to use stored fat for nutrients and supplements/protein keep you out of starvation mode. My biceps went from pitiful to popping. Thighs and legs from fat to looking like a running back. Chest from soft and squishy to cut. I’m wearing smedium tee shirts on purpose. I haven’t been eye F’d by the ladies like this in quite some time.

Exercise science B.S. degree here with a C.S.C.S.
I'm not sure how you're growing muscle at all with 1100-1300 calories per day. Maybe we should let the bodybuilders know that you can build muscle in a calorie deficit? I'd need you to elaborate that quite a bit.

He’s likely very small and not burning a ton of calories if what he claims is accurate. The only way to put on any muscle while in a deficit is if it’s only about a 250 calorie deficit, eating a gram per of protein per pound of body weight and still you would build it very slowly.
For example, between my active and resting everything, I burn about 4k calories a day, but I am a larger than normal human and do intense workouts (heavy compound training + hypertrophy and kettlebells) 6 days a week, cardio (running 3 miles as fast as I can) on my rest day.
So at 11-1300 calories he’s only burning 1500 or so, my guess is he’s about 5’4 120 maybe?

Some want to look like this --

Some want to look like this --

I want to look like this --

Healthy is not so much what you see on the out side, but how strong your cardio system is.
One can only loose weight with a calorie deficit. Exercise can help, but nothing much happens until one eats less. We all want a magic secret, but there is not one.
For most people, losing weigh, be it fat or muscle, will result in better health. Less calories with adequate protein is the best way to drop pounds.
