A lot of NIL deals

A lot of these NIL deals require a player finishing the postseason before receiving the last check. Also keep in mind even though the portal closes on 12/28, if your team is still playing in the postseason then your portal window doesn't close until 5 days after the last game.

Both would surely be more attractive to the NFL if both could play at full strength (no missing of games or being obviously limited) for the 2025 season.

I really believe that Capehart, in particular, would benefit from a final season in which he played ~ 300 snaps.
