This conference is a big reason why we fell off. No decent recruits want to go to the ACC

Recruits really don't care about SEC vs. ACC. That's a myth. We had recruits clamoring to join us 6 years ago, and the ACC is better now than it was.
We fell off because (a) we don't use NIL in recruiting like other schools, (b) we stopped being relevant on the national stage and players want to win titles, and (c) we stopped putting players in the NFL at the same clip and have been blasted for our poor development by our transfers/NFL coaches/etc.

Until this year we didn’t want to pay incoming players, the acc didn’t force us to do that.

Don’t be so emotional.
I praise both. If we somehow beat Texas I will be saying much more positive stuff about football than I did basketball. I think our basketball team is good because they have better wins and better losses. Football got murdered twice. Bball fights hard in close losses.

We had a home game in Charlotte. Anyone there knows that.
We won by 3. You don’t disagree.
Winning by 3 in a friendly environment means you are barely better on the field.
Acting like a team we barely beat is dragging us down is silly to me.

You tend to play to the competition and being in the ACC hurts Clemson football. It doesn't have to but Dabo has made some decisions over the past six years that he'd have never gotten away with in the SEC. Making our staff a training ground for Coaching projects being the main thing.
