Any truth to the rumor that Notre Dame asked to run down the hill?

I heard that because they are so impressed with our entrance they requested that Dabo let Them rub the rock and run down the hill before the fans enter the stadium.
Just so they could "feel what it would be like"
Answer is still pending from what I understand.
