Democrat partisans are no longer denying that they’ve been willing dupes of the jackhammered messaging from those numerous ‘news’ sources that have been propagandizing them for the last 20 years; the ‘Joe Biden is sharp … Joe cares about America’ talk since 2008 proves even to them that they’ve been fools.
Yet, even with that undisputed knowledge that their trusted news sources had betrayed and manipulated them, they still can’t get past their MSM fertilized derangement about Republican presidential candidates.
BDS - Bush Derangement Syndrome was the first. ‘Bush is Hitler. Bush is racist. Bush is xenophobic.’ (OK, the MSM of that time had not been instructed by the Democrats to be pro-war, so their attacks in Bush as being a war monger were legitimate.). Except for the (true) war monger part, all BS.
John McCain - Another Hitler / racist / xenophobia. After all, McCain was trying to keep the First Black President from being coronated. All BS.
Romney - yep, Hitler. Racist (again, Mittens was trying to dethrone the First Black President). Also misogynist extraordinaire. All BS.
All of that MSM propaganda over the past ~ 20 years has been laid bare. RINOs and Democrats are mad at being exposed as the dupes who believed the MSM.

Why weren't CNN and all the rest of the democrat state run news agencies not reporting about Bernie's mental state between February and June after the Hur report other than the initial snippet and laugh it off? John McCain - Another Hitler / racist / xenophobia. After all, McCain was trying to keep the First Black President from being coronated. All BS.
I paid close attention to the 2008 presidential race. No one referred to McCain as Hitler or anything like it. McCain was widely respected by both sides of the aisle. The only person I can think of to have treated him otherwise was Donald Trump!

I voted for him anyway though it was pretty clear Palin was a nincompoop.
Other than Perot in '92 - the first time I ever voted - I voted straight GOP right up until 2016...which I sat out, because I couldn't deal with Trump but I absolutely was not going to vote for Hillary.
Now the entire GOP comes across like Sarah Palin. All us "RINO's"/"Never Trumpers"/ Reaganites have been driven out over the last eight years.
Now it seems like blind, angry, dumb tribalism is all the party has left.

OK, you’re right in that I can’t find a specific instance for when the media called McCain “Hitler.”
However, I can share with you an instance when a celebrity (Madonna) attacked McCain (I.e., obviously equated McCain with Hitler), but was not punished by the media.
In contrast, this same media waged an all out (successful) attack on Hank Williams Jr for his verbal attack in Obama; HWJr was fired from Monday Night Football shortly afterward.

Let's do Romney now. I paid close attention to that election as well. The main criticisms about Romney was that he would do more for the richest people than the poorest, and one time he made the family dog ride on top of his car. I didn't see any Hitler stuff.

Changing the subject from leftist MEDIA supporting the (fill in the blank Republican) ‘he is Hitler’ to political ads and satire is an intentional diversion from the core argument of the original post.
The problem is that an unbiased media (include the media’s predilection to ignore entertainment industry leftist propaganda) is propagandizing Americans, and those who have been thoroughly brainwashed are fine with it.
I guess that’s why it’s called brainwashing. The brain gets cleansed of the ability to analyze and reflect about whether its beliefs are founded on propaganda.

But I also think millions of people look at Trump and think there's no way in hell they're ever voting for that.
At this point, I look at both candidates and shake my head. We have a felon vs. a geriatric. But I've seen and heard with my own eyes the terrible stuff that Trump has said and done and can find zero redeemable qualities in him. As a politician, he seems to be for sale and will do whatever he feels benefits him personally before all else. As a businessman, he has a track record of failure and fraud. As a person, he's absolutely morally corrupt. And as a man, he displays zero accountability and always passes the buck.
He does not represent the people, he flat out has made fun of some minority groups including veterans and the disabled, and his followers seem totally disinterested in supporting equality for all Americans.
Biden's age, while extremely concerning, pales in comparison to Trump's track record of transgressions.
