Seriously... not without Rivera. Cano possibly gone. Jeter at the end of his career. A-Rod... enough said. I don't see them finishing better than 4th possibly 3rd in their division for awhile.

I have to agree. We need to go out and grab us a young SS, Pitcher, and Catcher, and develop them in the minors. The Yankees farm system has always been bad as long as I can remember. I'm tired of seeing Cashman and the Steinbrenners bring in 40 year old "has beens." The top five farm systems are: Red Sox, Astros, Padres, Rangers, and Cubs, while the yanks sit at 16.

Typical Yankee overpay. Love him but it seemed like his usefulness had passed for the braves. Especially with a replacement like the white bear.

I think everyone figured McCann would probably be gone from Atlanta, but I hate to see him playing all his home games in NY.

He'll hit 30 homers a year with that short right field.

player. He will DH for the rest of his playing time. Braves have known this for sometime. The only thing I don't get is why the Braves never trade players they know will be gone in a few years.

The Braves have always been my favorite team & the Yankees my least favorite. ATL treats it players like family and the NYY treats theirs like disposable diapers. I hate the business side of baseball has ruined the game & loyalties.

they should have cut the cord with instead of continuing to loan him money!
Seriously, though. Sucks to see this. First Hudson gone, now McCann. My favorite Braves are dropping like flies. All I need to is Heyward to unexpectedly get traded and I'll be pretty much sick.
