Will go to UNC .. yes, he’s old but he’s great at D and saying his goal is to make UNC a pipeline to the NFL will draw great recruits to UNC. Think of a great potential D ( and O) recruit and their family listening to an 8 time Superbowl champion - and Pork Chop .. which way do you think they’d lean?
Hopefully he does not go to UNC ..

We've been an NFL pipeline for years and just signed our worst recruiting class in who knows how long. Stuff like that no longer really matters.

We were top 5 early before other teams got more guys and passed us. Guessing without the decommits we probably would've finished somewhere around 15-20 rather than around 30.

UNC would need a backup plan because he's over 70 years old, couldn't see him coaching long.

I hope he does. His ever sunny personality should make him a recruiting dynamo.Sure! Mack Brown was much more suited to be a successful recruiter, yet UNC still sucks.
It would take several years for UNC to turn it around and Bad Bill is pushing 73.
UNC has a massive series of poor HC hires. Belichick would be another.

go too far in the wrong direction too... We don't have really any argument against the ACC is bad argument b/c 10 of our teams are useless and really don't do us any favors in the SOS argument. UNC should always be formidable in sports i'm not sure what the problem is in chapel hill but they have money and reach.. so they have no excuses. GT is getting better but they can't keep good coaches very long. But Atlanta should be easy to recruit to. I thought Coach Prime woudl have been an ideal fit there. VT has no excuse, NCSU has no excuse, FSU def has no excuse.. These teams should be hanging around the top 25 as well.

I personally think belichick would have a really hard time in the college game, especially if not at one of the top 4 blue blood money programs. His stock has really crashed these past several years. He just doesn't seem to have the makeup of a good college coach.
