He's right. No way a 3-loss team should go the playoffs, EXCEPT if your in the SEC. Such favortism.
Indiana shouldn't go the playoffs. The OHIO State game showed that. Will the BIG 10 will get 3 teams in:
Oregon, OSU, Indiana and Penn State? It's possible. Will the SEC get Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, or 3-loss Alabama? It's possible. That leaves only 4 left. A total travesty.

based on what a been happening with our recruitment for the 2025 class! We are getting eaten alive on the recruiting trail by not only B1G and SEC, but even fellow ACC rivals! That NEVER used to happen! A Clemson offer used to mean more, but to hear that we will have trouble just filling out our full roster is crazy!

Well until we get a big time collective deal under the guise of NIL then that is the way things will be.
Ryan Day said he needed 20 million to do business. Inflation has been rough so I expect that figure to be a little higher this year.

Day said OSU needs $20 mil, GT just raised $78, yes $78, for their athletic department (think some of that went to that encouraged Tae Harris to switch from CU to GT, or Jordan Allen (CU offer)?).
We neither have the heavy hitting Alumni or the number of Alumni to even make a dent against those figures. You can only ask your fan base so many times until the well runs dry.
You can accept that or not. The road to football recovery is admitting there is a problem. The next step is to do something about it. Except for some 20-25 teams, everyone else just can't compete until the unlevel rules are somehow leveled out...and I'm not sure the $EC, BIG10 or E$PN want that.

I think a Clemson offer is still special to the recruits, just not always enough for some to overcome the NIL $ many schools are willing to pay up front.

Well the problem is the huge conferences and no body plays anybody anymore - compare UGA and Texas....Still Alabama beats UGA, UGA beats Texas and Texas beats Vandy....Are they all that good or are they all about the same. Ditto Big 10 or Big 28 - whatever they are now.
And in our case the top 3 don't play any of each other so there is no reason to think we can't be the best of the three? Miami gets a QB who has never even been to Conference Championship and all of a sudden they are head and shoulders better than we are? They got spanked by GT, could not stop Louisville or VT and arguably lost to them in the end but for a reply call.
All these teams AND our Tigers need a chance to prove it on the field but Dabo is right, its just boys club of those two and a puppet crew naming the entries into the tournament. Sham on you TV for making this whole mess - and all your little minion talking heads who are paid to say how great the SEC and Big30 are!
Having said all that - if we can't beat a middle of the pack SEC team this week then we really have no argument! Go Tigers.

Don't forget about what they did to fsu last year. I'm no fan, but like many here, I play a lot of sports. To disqualify a team because of the QB got hurt? Come on.
That should have told you what the future would be like.
This is like 90's boxing. Fixing matches and charging crazy $ to watch. It's really just show business. I still manage to find a good competitive game to watch. I don't get to upset about it.

The goal of ESPN and the NCAA is for the SEC and the BiG10 to dominate the CFP. That was the sole purpose of expanding to 12 teams. College football may be the most corrupt athletic group anywhere. ESPN was the father of this and should be held accountable.

If we win Saturday, we will hopefully make the Playoffs even if Miami wins and plays SMU for the ACC title. Surely, surely, we will make the field at 10-2 ahead of Alabama and Ole Miss at 9-3. Surely.

The CFP is NOT about how many losses you have. It's who you lost to, and how you lost. We got manhandled by an SEC team. That's all they'll see. And I'm betting they'll admit it on the broadcast of we get jumped by a 3 loss SEC team. I'm just guessing. We'll have to wait and see.
