Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky needs to return to the negotiating table and strike a deal on US access to Ukraine's critical minerals, White House national security adviser Mike Waltz has said.
Ukraine holds huge deposits of critical elements and minerals, including lithium and titanium, as well as sizeable coal, gas, oil and uranium deposits - a supply worth billions of dollars.
No analogy is perfect, but Trump continues to live his life like pond scum.

The US made the contributions it made. It didnāt give us any mineral rights guarantees. Thatās gone. If we want to tie future aid to that, fine, but then Z should say no (at least at the reported proposed terms).

That probably wonāt change unless the government does away with the federal tax credit for EV purchases. Oh wait theyāre also doing away with that; so, Tesla would be free to get their rare earth chemical from elsewhere which would cost US jobs.
