I thought it was $50 to $60 mil a year to add to a pot of money to be divided up. Not 50-60 for every team…

Yea not thinking we could get that per team with those 3 additions. 50-60 divided up between all members is not much of a gain if that is what they are talking about.

Looks like the conversation on redistribution of revenue stopped after the conference meetings. Have heard nothing else about it.

I saw an analysis where the total is 30-35 million (the new schools get an additional 1-2 million each for travel expenses right off the top).
The existing 15 schools divide the “purse”; So it will be an additional 2 to 2.5 million per school.

How he can go from the ACC gaining 50-60 million bucks as a conference and then jump to calling that 50-60 million per team (to be on par with the SEC) is certainly "new math" to me. It sounds more like a promise a politician would make or my wife coming home from shopping and saying, "I spent $400 on a dress, but it was originally $1000 so I saved us $600. I felt so good about that I bought a new pair of shoes for $200. We still made $400. Isn't that wonderful?"

Disclaimer: Hypothetical story. My wife would never do that. She is more fiscally conservative than I am.
