Yeah, maybe. Honestly though, I wouldn't want to be the coach to follow such a legend. Obviously coaches are wired differently but it rarely works out.
I just would feel better if Dabo shut it down quick.

I agree. You remember what happened to Coach Fords successor ( Hatfield ) even though all he did was win while here. The fans ran him off. I guess you have to be a Bama grad to be accepted as a coach at Clemson

I think Dabo would jump ship if they made the call, but I don't think they'd ever make the call. The boosters have already been loud about not wanting him, and Alabama is a school run by boosters. They're all calling for Lanning and Lane Kiffin. I have 0 doubt it will be one of them, unless Alabama just opens the checkbook even more and tries to steal Kirby or Sark (I don't see it happening).

Pete Carroll?? Anyone else surprised that he's not on the list? I figured he'd be near the top of almost any coaching vacancy shortlist, pro or college.
