After the BIG12 expands, ESPN will start using phrases like

"Big12 offenses..."
"Big12 defenses..."
"Big12 coaching..."

They will market and recruit for the Big12 schools like they have for the SEC...Afterall, the will have helped create the new look Big12.

ESPN is pulling the strings behind the scenes using their deep pockets.

Outside of the Grapes and Uterus, sometimes the Land Thieves, defense is optional in the Big 12.
