Still can't believe MBB did what they did last night...not that they won, not that they beat a prime UNC team leading the ACC, but that they never trailed in Chapel Hill & found a way to finish when they started getting pushed back in 2nd half.
Again they deserve kudos for last night, but in alot of ways, it's gotta drive alot of people mad. This team spent a month finding ways to lose & tear down what they had build in Nov/Dec (1 of best non-con resumes, poll rankings, solidly in tourney). Had the team that showed up last night been playing for the last month, they'd easily be Top 10 & pushing for the RS ACC crown.
I'm not ready to say I'm wrong about CBB or the team in criticism I've leveled. What I am gonna say is last night was either the real team or an optical illusion and it's time they decide which 1 to be rest of the way...starting Saturday at Syracuse.

really good effort by ALL who played (Clark and Wiggins few points were still crucial) but if PJ and especially Girard can hit multiple 3s (especially early, to ensure D must adjust), this team can play with just about anybody (and obviously ANYbody in the ACC) - the fact Girard is not more of a focal point, especially to close wins, is something I blame on the staff, but perhaps that has now been fixed. Hope they close with a memorable run

It is so easy to understand, just ask bluebloods like Kansas(5 losses), Duke(5 losses), Carolina(5 losses), and Kentucky(6 losses) to name a few. There are hundreds of kids that can play and losses will happen all over the country.

Last night was the real Clemson as was the team which lost to UVA. Almost no teams (outside of 74 Dolphins and 85 Bears) always bring their A games to every outing.

The 1974 Dolphins finished 11-3 and lost to the Raiders in the first round of the playoffs. I’m thinking you mean the 1972 undefeated Dolphins team?
And the 1985 Bears didn’t bring their A game to Miami on a Monday night that season. Dolphins beat them 38-24 in Miami to remain the only NFL team to complete an undefeated season. Bonus question - do you know who played QB for the Bears that night without looking it up?
