Anyone see the fansided article on upset alerts

for this week? We were of course on upset alert against Wake.
But what really drew my attention was the article about our game. First they talked about how people had started to doubt us after our narrow escape against UNCheat.
But then a couple of sentences later they stated that SINCE THAT LOSS we were averaging 45 points per game.
That's right. SINCE THAT LOSS.
Geez!! I would have sworn we won that game.
So to summarize the media, a narrow win in the ACC is a loss. And a narrow loss in the SEC is a win.

I've seen that more than once. If writers are doing that that means they are not watching any of our games they are just listing to talking heads we have had about 1% of the coverage we got last year on CFB live. You can imagine some committee members are probably the same. They got to watch our game Vs. NC State because it was prime time on ABC last week. But most of our games during this blow out stretch has been on ACCN or local coverage.

I'm not so sure about our coverage on ACCN or local coverage only. Are ABC or CBS network games considered local games only?

Since that "loss", we're averaging 52.6 points per game.
Our average margin of victory is 41.6 which is closer to that 45 number.
Our season long average points per game (including that "loss" and the first few weeks when we were apparently "playing bad"), is 45.3 ppg.

You are correct. After I read the "since that loss" part my brain kind of went numb.
The actual words were:
Don’t look now, but since everyone started doubting the Clemson Tigers after they narrowly escaped North Carolina at the end of September, Trevor Lawrence, Travis Etienne and the reigning National Champions have been absolutely rolling over the competition. Since that loss, they have scored at least 45 points in every game, have not won by fewer than 31 points in any game and, of course, have now reached No. 3 in the College Football Playoff rankings.

One of the announcers of the UNC game last night said the same thing.
