According to Joe Biden in last night’s State of the Union address, Garret’s brother Lincoln Riley was killed by an illegal alien. I had no idea.

Why do we have an age restriction on the lower end of the scale, 35, but not the upper end? We don’t need anyone over 75 in office.

and I think 75 is to high, and I'm 66 and though I am in relatively good health, there is no guarantee in 4 years I will be! I think any who run for president, senator or congress are retired at age 72! If they still want to work after they have become rich playing the system then go be a greeter at wal mart!

There's no guarantee that you will be okay by the time you read this comment. Life is like that. I just had a friend's wife die of Alzheimer's at 55 years old. Demonstrated cognitive competency should be the standard.
Old age should not be a barrier. I think EVERY presidential candidate should have to take and pass a mental competency exam before running. There are plenty of people in their mid-70s that are sharp as a tack and plenty in their 30s that are dull-witted morons.
Still to me, the ideal would be a person in their mid-50s to early 60's. Kinda the sweet spot for meaningful life experience and mental competency. On the other hand, some governments seem to be alot more stable by allowing a person doing a good job to stay in that job until they are not doing a good job instead of arbitrarily ending their employment at a fixed number of years.
I'm no fan of Vladimir Putin, but he has a leg up on any US president. He has been running Russia through 5 US presidents and that has to give him the upper hand when dealing with us or his own bureaucracy. Our bureaucracy calls out elected officials the temporary help...they too just endure an unfavorable president knowing that they'll likely get free rein during the next cycle.

It's too bad that when we disagree about policy, we have to denigrate the policy makers.
When Ronald Reagan and Tip O'Neill were on opposite benches, they agreed to disagree, but respected the opponent.
Now having a differing opinion qualifies you as "anti-American." So much for the 1st amendment.

While we are setting age limits, how about term limits also! I was against term limits for years, believed let the people vote for whomever they want. My mind has been changed! How can a person go into Congress worth $400,000, stay 4 years and be worth millions?

The scary thing isn't that you're delusional enough to believe this despite every piece of evidence showing clearly that the 2020 election was in no way rigged, but rather that you're delusional enough to believe this AND you vote.

How do you define energy independence? The US is already a net exporter of oil and oil products. Domestic oil production is at an all-time high.

The process of oil formation typically takes place in sedimentary basins, where the right conditions exist for the accumulation and preservation of organic material. Over millions of years, as more sediment layers accumulated, the heat and pressure increased, leading to the transformation of organic matter into oil and gas.
Once formed, oil can migrate through porous rocks until it becomes trapped in underground reservoirs, often beneath impermeable layers of rock or cap rock. These trapped reservoirs are what oil companies target when drilling for oil.

If I was a tater chip maker or candy bar maker I would sue him. Bidennomics gives them a choice of razing the price for the bag and leaving the contents the same or reducing the content's slightly and leaving the price the same.
