Can we start a petition to remove Scott Whitlock from the ACCN broadcasting booth? We have to watch the games on mute because of this guy. I don’t think that he watches half the game because he’s to busy talking about his however many years of coaching and his relationship with “Johnny Ballgame”. Caroline Jacobsen did a much better job calling the game while she was on air.

As bad as Don may be, he'd be better than Whitlock. It's nauseous because of what you said. At least 80% is things he's done with Rittman or things he's done with his career.
Caroline at the least would explain what was going on in the game. Breakdown what the pitchers were doing etc. She would at least do some scouting on the other teams.

Whitlock is real and knows the game as well as anyone. There lot of people on here who are never happy
with announcers even though they have never been behind a mike in
their lives and would die of mic fright if they did.

Clemson has been providing all the camera work and commentators. I don’t get why we need espn! Let’s start the CU Tigers channel! We give ESPN all the revenue. It’s a sad model.

I for one like Whitlock. He keeps it lively. Jacobson did a nice job, but it’s just bland commentary about the previous play. I challenge everyone to follow the ACCNX broadcasts when they travel to the other ACC programs. Our broadcast teams are way better than anything I’ve watched from the others since the ACCNX streams were launched. We have a strong group of local broadcasters and the best producers/camera crews of the games.

I like Whitlock’s commentary. He repeats a lot but has insight to the coaching side of things. I also liked Caroline Jacobsen’s commentary a lot. Was great getting a former player’s perspective.
