Pitt's loss to Notre Dame opens the door to a potential 3 seed...
Scenario 1: Miami beats Pitt, UVA beats Louisville, Duke beats UNC and Clemson beats Notre Dame...
Then it's:
1) Miami 15-5 2) UVA 15-5 3) Clemson 14-6 4) Pitt 14-6 5) Duke 14-6
Scenario 2: Pitt beats Miami, UVA beats Louisville, Duke beats UNC and Clemson beats Notre Dame..
1) Pitt 15-5 2) UVA 15-5 3) Miami 14-6 4) Clemson 14-6 5) Duke 14-6
Assuming we beat Notre Dame...we are locked into the top 4. We are in good tiebreaker shape with Pitt and Duke. Of course if Duke loses to UNC, we are in regardless.
3 seed looks possible...assuming Pitt has trouble with the long road trip to Miami.
3 seed would be preferable...any matchup that day will be difficult...but Duke seems to be finishing strong at the moment.
Most scenarios end with the 4 seed.
Hard to swallow that it's ultimately the Louisville loss that is keeping us out of a shared regular season conference title.
Saw someone on here talking up Notre Dame because of tonight....that was a classic "setup"...senior night, coaches last home game, etc. Notre Dame has played a lot of close games. But the more likely scenario Saturday is that we play well at home and win comfortably...and they don't quite have the same energy that they had playing in a "special" home game tonight.

if Duke loses at UNCheat, because we have the tiebreaker over Duke. The only way we fall out of the top four is if we lose to ND and Duke beats UNCheat!

It would be Miami, Pitt, Virginia, Clemson. Pitt holds tie breaker over Virginia.

What if duke wins and both Pitt and Clemson lose? Are we still a 4?

If Duke wins and we lose they would jump us and we would go to 5th place.

I think so...Pitt would drop to 4th, because we would have

None of this matters.
Clemson controls their own fate.
All they have to do is win 11 more games and they are national champions!
