Am I the only Tiger fan frustrated and irritated with Dishnetwork regarding ACC Network?
I contacted them several times and no worthwhile info. Yesterday I was told an announcement will be made today. Not holding my breath

You might be, this is the first post on here that I have seen regarding a problem with the ACC Network.

Yes, you are the first person. There is not a single other Clemson fan posting about the ACC Network.

Here is response I got from them yesterday. Replied back that I was going to begin negotiations with another carrier.
Thank you for your e-mail. Due to ongoing negotiations we cannot disclose any updates on it. If we do acquire the rights then at that time can we provide more information. I am sorry that I cannot help further but this is a negotiation which will take both parties to come to terms in order to proceed.

I cancelled Dish a few days ago. The hassle I had to go through just to cancel was enough to make me feel satisfied even if they do pick it up.
I waited on hold for 20 minutes before a representative could help me. She was all bubbly making small talk and before I could even say anything, told me of all the discounts I've earned and wanted to verify I was calling to take advantage of that.
I was so pissed from holding for 20 minutes, I just went off and said "I calling to cancel my service. I don't want a discount, I don't want anything from you except I want my service disconnected now! She said, well it's going to be another 10 minutes at least because we are in a queue with others ahead of me. I was like ###, are that many people leaving Dish that there's a waiting list just to leave?"
We went back and forth when she asked if there were any specifics on why I'm leaving. I said, yes, now I can take up some of your time. First of all Dish is not signed on with the ACC Network, and second, there are other options where I don't have to go through this bull$hit just to cancel my service. It's 2019 and I have to block out 35 minutes out of my day just to cancel my service.
She said "Dish does have the ACC network, We've had it for 2 months now". I said you are full of it lady! She argued with me for 10 more minutes about it. I had her look up the ACC website and explain why they don't have them listed as a provider. She couldn't explain it, but insisted that Dish had a deal in place 2 months ago. I said I don't give a $%^& if you give me free satellite tv now. The time wasted here and the fact you are flat out lying to me is enough. I am done! Do what ever it takes to cancel my service and have me off the phone in the next 60 seconds!!!!
After hanging up, I get an email saying they are charging me $15 to cancel, when the lady said I had a $2 credit. Unbelievable how petty they are.
I'm done with Dish. No more contracts and cancellation hassle for me. I signed on with Youtube TV and added Sling as well for the History channel, A&E, NFL Network and Redzone. I get all of it for less than I was paying before and with no contract!

We had the exact same experience, also told us we were responsible for returning items, including something off the dish, which is on my roof!

She didn't tell me anything about taking something off the dish! By the end she was as ready to get rid of me as I was of her.

I cancelled Dish at the end of July and switched to DirecTV (no other option since no cable provider). My cancellation went smoothly. The service rep didn't even ask why I was cancelling. They sent a prepaid UPS shipping box to return the DVR (there was a $15 fee), other receivers and the LNB from the Dish. Someone mentioned their dish is on the roof. The rep I dealt with asked where my dish was located and, since it was on a pole, she said I would need to return the LNB. I got the impression if it was on the roof, they would not ask to have it returned.
Sounds like there is a mass exodus of ACC fans from Dish. Maybe that's why others like you had the problem.
By the way, I'm reasonably happy with DTV. I did like the Dish remote better (keys are back-lit) and the voice command feature. DTV also seems to be more sensitive to storms, but it may just be my location.
If anyone is planning to switch to DTV, the wait for installation in my area was 2 weeks.
