Aaron Rodgers - Mike Williams

I honestly can not stand Aaron Rodgers. It’s been the same story with him his entire career, it’s always someone else’s fault.
It’s ironic today he talks about how “everyone has to be held to a standard” when he’s not once held himself accountable for his own mistakes.
Don’t think I’ve ever seen a QB get as much leeway for ONE single Super Bowl win as much as Rodgers gets. More than ready for him to retire and the drama he brings to retire along with him.

Completely agree. I can’t stand hearing him talk or seeing articles that are written about him.

playoffs and thinks he's smarter than any and all OC's combined which are 2 of the main reasons he'll retire with 1 ring. Any talk of him ever being the goat should have stopped when TB12 got his 3rd or 4th ring (of 7). That said, I was surprised how well he performed as a celebrity guest host of Jeopardy. Once a media darling but when he spoke counter to the big gov't Covid marching orders, the leftist MSM did a 180 and quickly soaked him in lighter fluid and set him ablaze.

Post was more so about the comments he made about Mike. But in terms of Williams, I think injuries have hurt the momentum he has built throughout his pro career. Also think he could of found a better landing spot than the Jets in the off-season coming out of FA.

I didn't hear any comments about Mike so I guess Im in the dark a little. Or was his comments about the team as a whole? Just curious why he called out Mike if so? Is there a link somewhere?

Basically just said that the interception he threw was Mike Williams fault but the All-22 kind of disproves it. Rodgers is just a crybaby, finger pointer. Has been his whole career.

His 4 MVPs would disprove your assertion of mediocrity but he does seem to be a bit of a head case.

Rodgers had a great skillset at QB during his long playing window.

If he were a better teammate he could have made it a race with Brady for GOAT consideration.

I wouldn’t go as far to say he’s one of the best ever. Extremely talented? Yeah for sure. But outside of his MVP & Ring, not much more to it. There’s plenty of other QBs with the same resume as him.

I was mainly saying that were he a better teammate he could have grown and operated better via the give and take there, and likely put up better stats and key wins along the way. His ego squandered his and others opportunities.

I can't stand Rodgers either but in his prime he was an absolute assassin on the field. I'm glad everyone is finally actually seeing him for the smarmy a-hole he's always been though. Its about time, he's been the same personality since he came into the league. Runs to the refs every play to complain. Gloats when he makes a play.

that wasn't the only play that Mike Williams has screwed up on this year. Heck he dropped two passes in that game BEFORE the final play! As a Jets fan Ive watched every game. multiple drops and has ran the wrong routes. Should Rodgers have called him out in public like that? probably not, but he's called out several of his receivers before, including garrett wilson and Davante adams.

I won’t say Mike Dub is blameless. What I will say is that as the QB and leader of the team, Rodgers is expected to carry himself a lot better than he is. But this isn’t just a recent issue, this is a criticism behind Rodgers for majority of his career. He’s a finger pointer, not a leader.
