Hoping XT has a little influence in his decision, and that the prospects of protecting TL for at least 3 years is worth more than getting beat up on the UGA run game.

Well, I read it and reached the same conclusion. He cited strong relationships with the OL coach and Smart. No mention of Dabo and only cited working with Caldwell.
He also said Caldwell mentioned his early impact but said in another part of the piece he pays no attention to that sort of talk.
CU wins the "family" thing and proven category. But said UGA's claim to "potential" is really strong. And it is. Not like Smart is selling the same "potential" Muschump is.
So I think at this point, unless UGA flops badly on the field, I think the relationships are winning and don't know how at this point you could conclude otherwise. It's not a runaway and not anything Dabo can't overcome but right now I think his preferences are exactly in the order he listed them.

Sounds like there is a good mind in that huge body too. Clemson would challenge that as well!

recruit extremely well. There's something else going on there that has kept them from reaching that potential, and it was still there last year under KS.

At this point I say Georgia still lands him. Georgia made a bad hire with Chaney but the only bright spot is he brought Pittman with him and he's pulling his weight recruiting Olinemen. We better hope Georgia wins 8 games this season. If they pull 9 or 10 and win the east we can kiss Salyer goodbye.

All coots want to believe that. We didn't go to two NC games back to back and splitting one of the two with Bama bc we can't recruit top talent. We actually beat Bama with less stars than what they play with!!! Coot dreams are just like skirt seams, they will fall apart!!!

If the number of stars wins games, why play? Coaches develop players. Great coaches develop great people that are also great players. I will take Dabo and the staff he has over anyone. Pro or college. The development of men ready for a good strong, sound foundation for life beats just football!

Great comment. That's why we are getting our share of great athletes and good young men. They see the diff.
