60 year high school reunion went well but

is shocking to realize that over one third of the class of'65 have already passed away - 35 of the 100 members of our class were listed on a sheet that was handed out.... and that doesn't account for several classmates that everyone has lost contact with. Reminder to enjoy life while you can!

you are correct. Everyday is a blessing.

Sometimes like to listen old Satler Brothers songs "Class of 57" and "Do you remember These"

But one of the best parts is to still be able to say......

GO TIGERS

Class of '87

Did you have a '65 love affair? Remember the song by Paul Davis?

He performed it on Solid Gold in the early 80s. I remember the Solid Gold dancers? I was in love or lust! I also liked Marilyn McCoo and the puppet Madame.

I was class of 80 in high school, and we lose more at each 5 year reunion. I guess it’s just a part of life.

We've lost 69 from my count, including one who died prior to the start of the senior year, from a 545 person 65 class. However I'm not the keeper of the list. 2020 event was cancelled due to covid. Had 59 listed for the 2015 reunion. There's likely a few more from those who didn't maintain contact.

Kids in my class are now all fat cats.
Most have done OK in life and all are eating well.

One-third probably about right, at what, 78 years of age? Time and tide....

I had my 50th several years ago and it was decided we wouldn't have another

But the stats you mentioned were correct

and what was sad was that they actually missed several classmates that had died years ago
