538 CFP predictor as of 11/6/22

According to the 538 CFP predictions (link: https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2022-college-football-predictions/ ) If UGA, OSU, TCU, and Clemson win out the CFP would be those 4 teams.

If OSU wins out, Michigan won't! Bama or Miss gets another loss. TCU has 2 pretty tough games on the road, Texas & Baylor. USC, UCLA, Oregon fight for PAC 12. At least 2 will get another loss. Our SOR could be better than any of those by final rankings. So it is still possible. For those that don't want "another CFP loss" check with the recruits to see of 7 of 8 playoff appearances would matter.

But I think a 12-1 Pac 12 champ gets in ahead of 12-1 Clemson. Oregon has been blowing teams out since getting stomped by Georgia, and if Georgia ends up #1, I think Oregon will be excused a bit for that game.

He is assuming that Mich/OSU looser is out and TCU & Clemson as Conf Champs at 13-0 or 12-1 would get picked over Tenn by CFP and PAC12 Champ based on the odds. A lot needs to happen still.
