Last week Winitall18 won with his prediction of 35-7. Great job.
I decided to post this a day early this week bc it’s vs our little brother. Five Head JB has shown total ineptitude against good defenses and especially against the Tigers: Remember when he said he would win them a National Championship? And then Neveragain???? Lol.
Its possible the coots keep it close for a few minutes, but their Run D is terrible, their secondary decimated w injury. No way this game is close. I wish it would end up 85-0 but my prediction is 63-13, coots score a 4th QT td against our scout team.

This could be revised based upon factors such possible rain, wind, but unless we turn over the ball I see a three quarter steady beating of USCe. Muscrap and crew will be reminded none to gently to watch their idiotic comments about Death Valley and Clemson in general.

FWIW, we've given up an average of 12 points per game, which includes special teams scores and some of the luckiest catches in the world by aTm … so does anybody really thing the cluckers are going to score more than 14 points?

The elements are in place for this one to get sideways fast...Clemson's returning seniors playing their last home game against their rival...night game on ESPN...SC's "never again" talk...Bentley's "they're not better than us" nonsense...the accusations of racism...the endless "five in a row" talk from SC...the "five bombing" Dabo. This is going to be a historic beating. I don't know the score but I think Clemson hangs 60 on them and SC doesn't break 17.

As stated, the USC rush defense is not very good at #93 in the nation so that doesn't match up very well to Clemson's rush offense of #13 in the nation not to mention a Clemson total offense of #8 against a USC total defense of #81. Just not a good match up. If USC has a chance it will be in their passing game. The Clemson defense has had their let downs in the passing game but has improved as the season has gone on. USC passing game is ranked #33 in the nation against a Clemson pass defense now ranked 11th. Give most credit to the defensive front four (along with some blitzing linebacker action) for putting tremendous pressure on QBs throughout the season making them get rid of the ball quickly. Duke was very successful in the first half throwing quick short passes and you can expect USC to do the same. I'm sure USC has seen and studied the tape of the Duke/CU game. With all this said, as in the Duke game, USC will hang around for a little while but will wear down and succumb to the Tigers for the 5th straight year, 47-11. Go Tigers!!

Reading some of these scores it amazes me how anyone would think that USuC will come close to getting double digits in their score. Our first and second team defense hasn't given up a TD since the Syracuse game. I don't expect that to change Saturday. As far as our secondary goes. Watching the games Coach V hasn't had to blitz much at all and gets all the pressure he needs from our front 4. USuC's offense will not be able to score on our cheerleaders either. Now I understand the concern with special teams play but the 2 TD's given up on ST's is because the coverage got a little lazy and I do not see that happening again. With the exception of 1 KO return I do not think a team has gotten past the 25 yard line against our kicking team. The punting team hasn't had any great punts but for the most part other than the 1 return most have been held to less than 5 yards. My prediction is 52-6.

I see 7 scores for the good guys, 3 for the bad. But we finish most of our drives while they have to kick FGs.
I think we lead 17-10 at the half before wringing the Chicken's neck in the 3rd Q.

I think that the rain will slow us down some; also, it takes a while for our offense to get going. They do have some good receivers who are capable of making a couple of big plays. So I would say 31-10, but they may get another TD on our subs. So, I am going conservative with 31-17 Tigers.
If TL brings his A game on Saturday, it could be much worse.

We need not get too carried away. My sense is they are not significantly worse than Duke though Duke is much better coached. A 30 point win is more probable and totally acceptable.

It’s a rivalry game so throw the records out they say. Not to mention we’re cycling out and they say never again.
