3 Things Certain Now in College Football

1.The transfer portal and NIL has brought more parity than ever among all teams and conferences.

2.Maintaining depth at any school is harder than ever before.

3.The 12 team playoff system will make the season very exciting, most games intense, and the playoffs much less predictable.

I do believe IF Clemson is going to win another national championship anytime soon this is their year.

Really? I disagree with point #1. Here's why

+Locker room equality takes a hit when endorsements come into play.
+The pressure on young athletes to perform for sponsors may overshadow playing for the team.
+Coaches have a new challenge: managing not just the player but the ‘brand’ as well.
+Lesser-known programs may struggle to keep up, losing promising talent to more affluent schools.
+Disparities in funding and resources become more pronounced, potentially skewing competition.

Another emerging issue is that NIL is actually WIDENING the financial disparity between programs. P5 schools with more exposure can attract top talent with promises of lucrative NIL deals. This doesn’t just affect recruitment; it changes the very nature of competition.

I definitely agree with what you’ve said. NIL definitely brings many new and uncertain challenges to say the least. It will get out of hand even more I’m sure. Money has a way of messaging many things up.

Abso-F-ing-lutely!!! Highschool athletes already know by the time they're a sophomore within HS sports, everything there is to know about college NIL deals and the transfer portal. Every one of them that is good enough to play college sports already has a plan for what school would be their second choice if things are not working as planed with the first school they signed with.

The NCAA has made it extremely easy for college athletes to tell HC's and the administration to "F" off bc they will transfer to as many schools necessary in order to have things their way bc they don't work for them they work for themselves and that is exactly the door that the NCAA left open for college athletes to escape through whenever they want to change their address of where they choose to play sports!!!

To fix it, the biggest majority of college president would need to come together and say that without any rules for their university to govern their athletes on equal bases that they will no longer sponsor college sports bc it would be senseless without penalties that would keep their athletic department from having a DOUBLE revolving door. Without any rules on coming in and leaving out, that leaves the university with both arms tied behind their back that allows the athletes they have invested $thousands of dollars in to leave at will. With the rules the way that they are, small school banks will dry up in a short time!!!

Agree with all points because despite the protestations, there will not be super teams any more than there ever has been. Top players will not go to a school and sit on the bench, period.

as many eSECpn teams as possible. As coots have learned, you can no longer just expect Bama (or to a lesser extent Georgia) is going to win it for your conference so you can brag about your conference. Lately, the e$ECpn can't even make it to the Championship game.
