A bad stain on the history for the rivalry for both teams. Hope it never happens again.

Not a stain on us

It's a stain on them. They started it and when Clemson quit it, they started fighting amongst themselves. A very fitting way for Holtz to end it. He was a dirty coach; probation and scandal followed him wherever he went - Minnesota, Notre Dame and South Carolina. He recruited thugs and criminals onto his ball clubs so it's no surprise that they acted like thugs and criminals.

Yes! Memorable sight was skinny Lou in the middle of the fight in a futile effort to break it up while Whitehurst smartly walks to the Clemson sideline and talks with Bowden. No way were either of them getting into that brawl!

Sadly we have to remember thanks to Coot fans last season at this time calling for them to start a fight again to hurt our NC chances. Thankfully their team wasn't as stupid as Coot fans are.

Can't remember their names, but they were classics and I miss'em.
Just a few gems: "Time for the mace - get the sauce out!"
"Time to treat them like idiots!"
"Get the police dogs out!"
EPIC!!

Yeah this was my freshman year at Clemson. Was "awesome" when it happened, but that costed us a bowl game.
This year, were playing for a lot more than just a regular bowl game.

If you don't want it to happen again, keep them away from the bottom of the hill yelling vulgarities and insults at our players. They got what they deserved. Go Tigers!

I don't know if they showed it on tv, but the coots started this before the game even started by trying to meet Clemson as they ran down the hill. Even worse than what Georgia tried in 2013.
Then, once the coots knew they had no chance at victory, they started taking cheap shot after cheap shot. It was embarrassing to watch their conduct in that game. They didn't want to play football; they wanted to be thugs.
A big contributor to the brawl was the massive coverage of "The Malace in the Palace" the night before. You couldn't get away from that coverage, and it definitely put ideas in those thugs heads.
You know what they say, if you can't beat 'em, start a brawl and get your a$$ beat twice.
