Jul 23, 2013, 7:58 AM

Has anyone ever parked in the Brooks Center lot? If so whats the walk to the stadium like?

I've parked out there before. Its quite a walk to the stadium from there. I'm guessing the most difficult part of the walk will be walking up/down the hill that leads to the east endzone area of the stadium.

If you walk up Palmetto and cross straight over Williamson

you can walk by Cemetery Hill and walk straight to the gate for the South upper deck (if that's where your tix are) and avoid the large hill to/from the stadium.

10 minutes tops, not terrible

Brooks Center lot is all paved and has a lot of shade. Kids can go play football on the band practice field too. There are port-a-johns available, but we typically walk over to P&A to use the facilities. We've parked at Brooks Center for about 3 years now and really enjoy it.

Best part of Brooks is the band practice field. The walk isn't that bad and usually I use it to stop by a few other tailgates. The shade is nice and usually a fun crowd to tailgate with.

Parked there for 5 years now

It's a great area for tailgating. A little less crowded than other lots, but also a longer walk to the stadium.

We typically tailgate in the grassy area up the hill toward Brooks center from the band field. Lots of shade, and room to spread out a bit.

The walk isn't bad, walk down the front of Brooks, across the top of Strom, then straight over to Williamson and down to the stadium.
