I am guessing this is partial cover for finding out that SC did indeed get advance scouting and signing info from Conner Stalions at Michigan as has been rumored. My wild guess is Beemer knew about it, otherwise why did they wear arm bands at home and at Clemson in 22 yet not again since. Tanner leaving now may be a way for him to be distanced from this and I am not going to be surprised if it eventually gets Beemer. And if so, rightly so. If there was nothing to hide the recruiting coordinator who had just gotten a big bonus would not be gone. The wording of the SC statement as per the State is curious as refers to NCAA rules but does not specify recruiting. I just have a feeling this guy may have some sort of ties to the Michigan contacts where the spreading of the signs is alleged to have happened. Black helicopters, maybe? But something doesn't sound just right with Tanner announcing this on the day before a big day for the junior college with gameday tomorrow.
