when BAMA beats UGA tomorrow to secure a spot in the College Football playoff. As long as we are only at 4 teams in the CFP my hope is that someday the rules will state that you must win your conference championship to be eligible for the Playoff. Let's put more intensity in these Conference Championship games.

Just from what I hear a close win by either team and they are both in. Personally I hope the Dawgs bury them early and leaves the committee no choice but to drop them to # 5.Meanwhile if we do not want 2 SEC teams in, we need for Oklahoma St to win big, Michigan just to hold serve, and Cincinnati to beat Houston.

Alabama is the $EC's cash cow and the league will do anything and everything to keep the milk money flowing.
It will be interesting to hear UGa fans rationalize why Kirby elect to "go for it" or attempt an ill-advised fake punt on fourth down inside his own 25 yard line and that play ends-up costing you the game.
While UGa is only 6.5 point favorite, based on the way both teams have played, there is no justifiable reason Alabama should win which is exactly why they will with a little help from Kirby and the $EC.

What is interesting is to now discover Kirby's rationale for questionable play calling. Up til now it's because he isn't a good coach. Who knew its because he's in on the conspiracy to ensure Bama is in the playoff.

ahead of a one-loss conference champion like Okie State, Cincinnati or even a one loss Notre Dame even though there will be an abundance of talking heads, especially at ESecPN and ABseC, campaigning for it.

Don't see this at all. First of all Georgia wants to destroy Alabama just so they won't have to face them in the playoffs. Kirby just needs to not mess it up with a dumb call. I think Georgia rolls by double digits. I would be shocked if Bama scores 10 points on them.

Bama hasn't been good on the o-line and they are depleted at RB. Those are bad problems to have against anyone. They are very bad problems to have against that UGA defense. I'm thinking UGA, something like 24-10 or 27-13.

Yep. Bama is going to have to beat UGA twice to win the Natty this year - and I would not be surprised to see it happen. I agree on the conference championship games being win or go home. There should be 3 other games tomorrow played by the highest ranked 6 teams not playing in conference championship games. Then the 8 winners move on. Makes it basically a 16 team playoff and makes conference championship games part of the playoff. And makes everyone play the same number of games (see what we did there Notre Dame?).

I agree. If you are not the best team in your conference, you certainly are not the best team in college football ...... which is the purpose of the CFP.
