We want to get Taisun in

Many fans have also asked why Phommachanh hasn’t received more of a look, and Elliott said the coaches don’t want to disrupt Uiagalelei’s rhythm.
“DJ has done what we've asked him to do. He's played better each week. So I think he's improving. And we wanted to get - you saw in the first drive we wanted to get Taisun in there. - we want to have a little bit of a package for him,” he said. “But then as the game goes on, you just get into you get into that dog fight. And so DJ is doing well. He's playing well, don't want to disrupt what he has going on. But obviously, for us, Taisun is a guy that we believe can help us in certain situations, and his role will expand as we go forward.”

One thing I sometimes think about before I comment is...

can I do the job of the guy I'm about to criticize better than him, and could that same guy do my job better than me?
I don't know why I think about things like that.

I wouldn't. Let your feelings be known. You deserve it.
I also didn't criticize. Just pointing to the only play that was used in the "Taisun Package."

I like this Taisun Package. Now we just need to learn to run it three consecutive downs and follow up with the Spiers-Allen connection.
Potential Stat Line:
Spiers - 7/9 for 168 yds, 2 TDs Allen - 7 rec for 168 yds, 2 TDs Phommachan - 27 carries for 42 yds

I wouldn't give Tony Elliott or any other rich and successful person a free pass at another job. No way to know if they could do better than you at your job. There are so many factors.
I just think back to anyone who has tried different careers. Michael Jordan wasn't good at baseball. Do I think Tony could be good in marketing? Maybe, maybe not. Many engineer types hate anything remotely related to sales. So maybe he would hate it.
Not sure if you wanted me to get into that. I definitely think this is an interesting topic though.

“D.J. is doing well.”

Well, Coach Elliott, you and I have different definitions of what doing well means for the starting quarterback at Clemson.
Thus far, through six games, he ranks 90th among FBS quarterbacks in passing yards, is tied for 110th among FBS quarterbacks in touchdowns, and is 104th among FBS quarterbacks in QB rating.
I don’t doubt that D.J. is playing hard. I am sure that he is putting forth great effort. I believe that he had improved since the first game. But he is not “doing well” by any objective definition.

You guys don't know what you're asking for. DJ is the best option that we have.
