sales would make a profit, and the final four appearances should be worth something, too. Just does not seem fathomable to me that the math would not work out.

by both congressional houses which hopefully will lead to a few progressive changes in federal law as well as massive federal program funded by the US taxpayer that will slow this scourge & horror that is preferential discrimination against women.

Highest attendance like 4 out of last 5 yrs and they can't balance the books? That really sounds incorrect. Their women attendance blows past a lot of schools mens teams annual attendance numbers, how could they not be making money?

Tickets are cheap, and attendance doesn't drive profits anywhere close to media deals. Women's basketball doesn't have a substantial TV contract.

A quick Google search shows they average over 16k each home game. No idea cost of a general admission ticket but I did see season tickets were only $55 in 2023. Sounds like they need to charge more money to make up the difference. As long as she is successful, they will pay.

"Only" 55? Seems like a lot of money to watch a bad sport

Over 200 bucks to take your average family to a womens basketball game? Thats a hard sell. Im not sure how much more you can increase it without tanking attendance. Even winning, its still just a bad sport.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Wait, are you saying 55 for the ENTIRE season?

because yea, thats pretty crazy, thats basically free per game.

If I read the post correctly the cost of a SEASON ticket is $55. That would include all home games. That’s a good deal for anybody who could stand to watch that product for 5 games or more a year. They would have to pay me to watch it though.

The team that spends to most (has an advantage to) wins the most.

The teams that are run to protect the bottom line rarely win championships.

Clemson is going to plow everything they have back into the program to win championships. Big time boosters can really make a difference. There are countless teams like UVA that are not going to do the same.

If you think about it...
That is why the finical payouts in the ACC have not kept up with other conferences.

athletic program as a whole, who has you by the ballz b/c she knows she controls her AD. She (i think) purposefully never wears anything that remotely promotes the school. Seems like she could care less about the fans who support her teams, and carries herself as the queen B. And she'll leave one day and probably won't give that school as much as an eyebrow raise in her goodbye. Can you imagine somebody being so talented and good at their job but really doesn't care about your school. Fitting for those fans but man, it would be hard to accept if somebody like that was at Clemson.
