I have mixed feelings on Boulware. On the one hand, he's one of my favorites linebackers ever, and was a natural leader. On the other, that isn't what position coaches do. His job is to coach fundamentals and make people NFL-caliber backers. I don't see how he can do that, when he wasn't even close to an NFL linebacker himself, and also has no experience working with linebackers.

Well Pride97, how many of the 136 linebacker coaches in the big leagues of football do you guess actually did play in the NFL? My guess is not many and Ben did have a chance with the Panthers if my memory serves me right. I promise you, and the other members of the fire the coaches club, that if we get better players, the coaching will be better too. It is amazing how much easier it is to coach better players than those of lesser ability.

Hold it!!! Wait one gosh darn minute!!! I am going to reiterate for the 100th time, I will not allow this talk of firing Coach Conn to proceed. Ok so what our safety play is terrible this year. So what he is the defensive passing game coordinator and the pass defense this year is not good. So what only 1 player, at his position group, he has recruited has been drafted by the NFL. So what he was Co-DC last year of a defense that was horrible. So what we were told his hiring would lead to a pipeline of top notch recuits from Georgia high school powerhouse Grayson coming to Clemson (still waiting) and it hasn't happend in 9 seasons. Despite these shortcomings it does not matter because the 1 qualification he provides that is most important to the football program is................................HE'S DABO'S BEST FRIEND!!

If Conn was a friend he would resign without asking. Then, Dabo should reluctantly accept his resignation. Conn can move onto a smaller school.
