Watching the championship game/playoff reruns, and being right there in front of Trevor at the gator bowl. I just happened to notice.
Every time a former player comes to a game on an off week or comes to a championship/playoff game they don’t wear Clemson gear.
From the Hopkins, Watson, power rangers and many more, they never wear Clemson gear but “designer” t shirts and clothes. Doesn’t bother me just noticed it. Weird trend. Come back home and wear the paw.
This isn’t exclusive to Clemson, just a weird trend. It’s ok to not wear Gucci when you come to a game, we all know you’re rich.

I was thinking that was a possibility, but it didn’t add up. Deshaun and Hopkins don’t have European clothing contractual obligations

I wonder if they have contracts that only allow them to wear sports branded gear of their pro team…..

That’s a good point, but I’ve also seen them wear opposite branded clothing on “bets”.
For example I saw Trevor wear a UGA shirt after a bet in the locker room when UGA won in 2021

I’ve noticed it also. I think maybe it’s because the only time they are seen on tv much is when they have on uniforms or practice clothes. They know they’ll likely be shown on tv at the games and want to wear their designer clothes!

And that’s totally respectable. Just a trend I’ve noticed. But I’m not in their shoes. I’d be in orange overalls in their position.

Former players don't wear the paw.
Players families don't really wear the paw.
It's all black and has been for a very long time.

Just saw online an Addis’s Clemson jacket, so professional players are not limited by brand. There is UA, Nike and Addis’s Clemson gear.

Yea hard to figure. I’m representing 90 percent of the time and I have never played for the University!
May need to check into some kind of recurring revenue stream seeing I’m a walking billboard.
