In fairness, he didn't. I mean he played but you kinda prove the posters point. No burst. I love the kid, and think he is doing a great job for what he is, he just isn't a RB.

How many passes did he catch in 3 years? I know he didn't catch a TD pass until late last year.

We are not good enough to have these failed experiments and stay the course. Need to get our best players on the field. I know that Thurman got on the field at RG with the switch at left tackle and guard. Interested to see how he graded. Tristan Smith still siting for some reason and Cole Turner continues to get those reps. Like to see Gideon Davidson get a few touches. We have been talking about him since he was in high school as the next big thing. Someone pulled the plug on the Jahiem Lawson - Denhoff madness at the start of the second half. Denhoff played a handfull of snaps but Lawson didn't see field until the 4 minute mark by my count. The drop from Heldt/Parker to Denhoff/Lawson is a back breaker. We had the roster management issue with UGA last year. No TJ Moore and Wesco. Left us with nothing. This seniority system continues to bite us on the Axx.

Not 6'3". Not 240 lbs. Does not run a 4.4. But he's a big tough kid who can overpower Troy State with a little blocking.

Yeah, well, the Clemson Media machine must have reached out to initiate that fantasy piece. The only similarity beween the two is that they both play football. One runs over or around NFL linebackers and is a multi year pro bowler. The other has never run over anything except some lower tier D backs at Clemson. Like to see us move on with players that are more talented and will help us in future games.

He doesn’t have to break 30 yard runs for us to have an effective run game ( although he did at least once tonight). We are a passing offense. They just need to respect our run game enough to commit resources to it.

And no lateral quickness or shiftiness....I get we're buying time for the others, but it will hurt us against a real team. I love Adam, but may be better as a short yardage bruiser or 3rd down back catching a pass.

He doesn’t have quicks or cuts either. He has some power and usually moves the tackle forward a little. Its kinda sad we’ve ended up here after so many good ones down through the years.

I haven't watched the game on tv, but it seemed lime he ran into his blockers a bunch. That might also be because it looked like our OL was on roller skates
