field last night was released from the hospital this morning after passing all medical check-ups.

No further information on any injury.

but read he was taken to local hospital.

I dislike NC State, but never like players being hurt no matter how much I dislike them.

Saw the replay showing the hit. It was definitely a late hit. When he came to the ground his butt hist first, then his shoulder, then the side of his head. It hit the ground fairly hard, but when they were talking about a player being down, I assumed it wasn't him. The hit on the ground didn't seem that hard.

After I saw it was him and how careful they were with him I got concerned. When he was being rolled off the field and he gave a thumbs up, I told the guy I was watching the game with, "I'm thinking concussion and they are just being very careful."

Looks like that's what it was. Hopefully, nothing else.

particularly awkward. I too was surprised that caused him to stay down.

Glad he is ok, but that is a head scratcher.

I used to do sideline pictures at Furman and some at Clemson. I remember seeing guys who didn't know the day but wanted to go back in and play having helmets hidden. Its come a long way fro ah he just had his bell rung he'll be fine
